Quem somos English

WHO WE ARE?

We are Nazarene Jews or those of the Way, known as the first believers in Yeshua / Jesus also known in Hebrew as נצרים / Netzarim

We have found this man a plague, and a promoter of sedition among all the Jews, throughout the world; and the main defender of the sect of the Nazarenes; (Acts 24: 5).

But this I confess, that according to the way which they call the sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things that are written in the law and in the prophets. Acts 24:14

I. יהוה (GOD)

We believe that God is one. We believe that He created all things and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1: 3) He IS before all things. In it all subsists. (Col. 1:17) This God who is ONE manifests itself in a plural form, as: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5: 7)

II. MESSIAH (YESHUA) We believe that Jesus (המשיה ישוע) has come, and with great joy we wait for his return. We believe that the Messiah is the incarnate Word. (John 1: 1) He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life according to the scriptures, performed miracles, was crucified for the atonement of sins, was bodily resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven, and now sits right of God (יהוה). He will return at the end of this time to inaugurate the Kingdom of God on earth and will rule the world from Jerusalem with his people for a thousand years.

III. HOLY SPIRIT We believe that the Holy Spirit is the comforter, sent by God, and acts in us by revealing the messiah and convincing us of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

IV. BIBLE

We believe that the Bible, which includes both the Old Testament (תוֹרָה) and the New Testament, (הנזירים כתבים) is divinely inspired in its original texts and manuscripts. We believe that the observance of the Scriptures is the moral obligation of every man and the expression of love for God. Watching the scriptures means freedom rather than slavery.

V. SALVATION

We believe that, through the death of Messiah Yeshua / ישוע because of his blood covenant with us, we inherit salvation. This salvation comes by faith through grace. He who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me (John 14: 21a)

SAW. SOLE CELEBRATIONS OF THE LORD

We believe in observing the feasts of the Lord described in Leviticus 23. We believe that the feasts are prophetic and point to the birth, death and second coming of the Messiah. The main parties are:

  • Shabbat / Saturday

  • Passover / Passover

  • HaBicurím / Feast of Firstfruits

  • Yom Teruá / Day of the Trumpet

  • Yom Kippur / Forgiveness Day

  • Sukkot / Cabana Party

  • Shavuot / Weeks

  • Rosh Ha Shana / Jewish New Year

VII. THE ONLY FAITH

We believe that there is a faith that was once and for all delivered at Sinai. The Messiah (Jesus) did not come to create a new religion, but to be the Messiah of Judaism, and to confirm the revelation of God contained in the Torah.
